My journey started back in 2015 with a slew of health issues (which now present itself in a few chronic illnesses) that led me to a deep spiral into learning about ways to take my health into my own hands. finding brands that are clean. taking nutrition seriously. focusing on keeping my stress low (keeps inflammation low). creating rhythms in each day that help my mentally and physically.... that's what brings me to now. i'm still learning! and sharing what i have learned since this whole thing started.
2022 me is in a much better place (still got a ways to go, though). i'm now a work from home mom (meet shep!) makin' the most of each day. perspective is everything, and I've learned that it is SO worth taking each small decision in the day, seriously. that means doing a little extra research for products. food that makes me feel good. being accountable to habits i want to keep (and the ones i want to stop). i'm here to encourage you to do the same.
In my spare time you can find me with Matt (and shep strapped to me in a carrier) at a coffee shop here (almost always followed up with tacos), playing with our doodle pup, blasting All Too Well (10 Minute Version, of course), or likely whipping up a new DIY at home.
I have always loved writing and compiling resources, so that's what you'll find here. A lot of what I have learned and what I'm currently learning. I'm happy to pull up a virtual chair with ya and share the same way I would if you were sitting at our kitchen island. make yourself cozy!
